After the hundred

Volume 1, the extra case

The publisher advertises 100 main puzzles. Readers also search for '101' and 'One More Thing'; check the heading and instructions in your own edition before treating an extra page as an ordinary numbered grid.

Level 1: identify the page you actually have

Match the heading and ISBN in your copy. Do not assume a search result called puzzle 101 refers to the same extra material or to a standard grid.

Level 2: follow its requested format

If the page asks for a grid, list its categories. If it asks for a code or earlier material, follow that instruction instead. These are conditional routes, not verified claims about an unseen bonus case.

Level 3: stop unsupported assumptions

Check every proposed step against the extra-page instructions. Do not import a liar, a Caesar shift or a suspect list from a different edition. Consult the answer section only after checking the page you own.

The UK publisher advertises 100 puzzles. The search label '101' does not prove an additional numbered puzzle exists in your printing. Match it to the heading in your copy; we do not verify bonus-page contents from a search snippet.

Read the extra page's instructions first. Identify whether it asks for a grid, a code, or a connection to earlier material, and use only the indicated method. We have not verified every edition's bonus contents and do not assert that it uses a shift cipher or a liar.
