A procedure, not a key

Check your answer without spoilers

The sites that promise a Murdle solver want the puzzle text pasted in. I will not feed a copyrighted case to a random form. The official accusation button is the checker.

  1. Count checks: one per suspect row, one per weapon, one per place.
  2. Every check must have crosses in the rest of its column.
  3. Read each statement against the grid. A true statement that your grid breaks means the grid is wrong.
  4. If the case specifies a liar, reverse that person's statement and confirm the other statements hold; do not simply discard the statement.
  5. Use the red crime clue to identify the murderer from the completed suspect-weapon-location associations.
  6. Submit on murdle.com. That response is the answer key.

Book puzzles have a printed solution in the back of the book you bought. Use that page in the book, not a photo of it on a blog.

Questions and answers

Is there an official solver?

The site checks the accusation you submit. It does not offer a separate answer API.

What about answer-key PDFs?

If they reprint the book, they are not a source I will link. Use your copy.
